EA Modelling for Practitioners, based on ArchiMate®
The full practitioner course in the open modelling language for enterprise architecture.
About this course
EA Modelling for Practitioners is based on ArchiMate®, the open standard modelling language for enterprise architecture.
After the course you will be able to model a uniform representation of an organisation's architecture: diagrams that describe, analyse and visualise the different domains, their relationships and their dependencies unambiguously, so that stakeholders share one language for talking about architectural change.
ArchiMate® introduces a distinctive idea, the architectural viewpoint, which lets an architect describe one stakeholder's interests and concerns without drowning them in everyone else's. From migrating legacy applications to consolidating infrastructure, it supports cross-domain analysis and shows the direct and indirect impact of a change from each point of view.
It is designed to sit alongside other modelling languages, UML for systems and BPMN for business processes among them, rather than to replace them.
